Deep, crystal-clear, ruby-red colour. Bouquet: gentle suggestions of rose and wild berries. Taste: moderate hints of spices and vanilla; prominent tannins are well developed and blend perfectly into the taste structure of the wine.

The grapes are cold-soaked for seven days to enhance the richness and character of the varietal, followed by several days of skin contact at 25°C with daily punchings down.
